We are so excited to be nominated at all, but especially in the podcast category. In recent years there have really been many good podcasts on the market in Denmark and we are proud to be in such a good company, as is the case with the other two nominees in the category, says Karen Albertsen, general manager at Munck Studios in Copenhagen
The five episode documentary tells the story about the bomb that exploded at a socialist organization’s office in 1992. One man died. The team behind "The bomb in Søllerødgade" is: Regine Grønne Frederiksen, Tom Carstensen, Niels Malte Lundsgaard, Mikkel Andersson and Karen Albertsen.
“The bomb in Søllerødgade” is a very personal story that the narrator Regine Frederiksen came to us in Munck with which we helped her unfold. It has been a great pleasure to work with one of the young and talented talents who are just now emerging from the sound underground with huge eagerness to make podcasts, says Karen Albertsen.
The winner will be announced at the Radiodays conference in Copenhagen on the 20th of september.
